I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With a customizable approach, I have seen students that I have tutored improve by at least one grade level.  All the students that I have tutored for the AP exam have earned a score of 5. As an AP Spanish Language and teacher with 55+ students, grades were 100 percent passing with only a handful earning a 3.  I’m a flexible, adaptable, spontaneous, and professional Tutor ready to help you reach your goals.

I attended UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro, and received my Masters in Spanish Linguistics from NC State. I have over 23 years of teaching from Spanish level 1 up to AP Spanish Language (APSLC) and Culture AP Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, I have taught ESL to HS students as well as ESL to adults through Montgomery Community College. My experience also includes teaching the International Baccalaureate Program at the high school level. I am also an APSLC reader/grader and a National Board Certified teacher.

Furthermore, I have travelled extensively to Spain, having taken groups of students for 3 week periods of studying abroad.
